SCRIPTURE VERSE
Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from old."
- Pslam 25:4-6
PRAISES
Praise the Lord for a productive trip for Steve Spencer and Mike Douris as they spent time in India and Bangladesh this month. They were able to see how the current ministries are growing and impacting kids and also where opportunities for ministry still exist.

PRAYER REQUEST

Guatemala
The Panabaj school is beginning classes. Please pray for the teachers and students who attend this school. Pray also that God would provide for the material and logistical needs of the school for the remainder of the year.

Honduras
AFE has started their school year and is off to a great start.  Please pray that each student will have a successful school year and that God would provide the funding needed to finish the much needed cafeteria and High School section of the school.

A new nursery school is in development in Honduras; pray that the Lord will provide for the needs of this nursery and bring the children who need to be touched by this ministry.

The Proverbs 22:6 School has begun classes.  Please pray for the teachers, students, and families impacted by this school.  Pray that each person will see the love of God through those around them.

India
Santvana Home in India is growing, and more dedicated Christians are needed to care for and love the children. This is especially true as Dr. Edwards, the Director, has recently been ill.  Please pray that Dr. Edward's health would improve and that God would send more workers to Santvana Home.

Muneer school is set in the middle of a Muslim community in India.  They currently have 280 students enrolled but funding is needed to allow them to continue to serve this many children.  Ask God to provide the needed funds to keep this school growing so that the teachers can be a witness for Christ in the middle of the Muslim community.  Pray that many would come to know Christ through the Muneer school.

Please pray that the Elwin Parakh Home for Girls receives their state license soon. This will allow them to expand their services and impact more girls with God's love. A team from Rockwall, TX will be traveling to India Feb. 25 - March 7.  Begin to pray now that all preparations would be completed in time for the trip.  Pray also that God would prepare the hearts and minds of each team member so that they are ready to share God's love and the truth of the gospel with the children in India.

Russia
Orphan Outreach is sponsoring an upcoming conference in Russia on Transitional Issues with Russian Orphans. Pray that the conference would be well-attended and that the Lord would give wisdom and guidance to each person planning and leading the conference. Pray also that this conference would have a real and lasting impact on the children we serve in Russia.

The Orphan Outreach staff is offering Bible Studies for many of the orphans we serve in Russia. Please pray that these Bible Studies would lead each child and orphanage leader to know Christ personally. Pray specifically for the kids in Nikolsky and for one orphanage director and assistant, Genady and Raisa.

Orphan Outreach Staff
The annual Christian Alliance for Orphans Summit will be held on April 30th and May 1st at Irving Bible Church in Dallas, TX.  This conference offers strategic networking opportunities designed to equip lay people, church pastors, and orphan care workers with steps they can take to love orphans in their homes and churches.  Please pray that many people attend this conference and that many would be inspired to do more for the cause of orphan children right here in the United States.  Click here to visit the Summit website.

Please Pray for
the Gonzales family
in Honduras.

Quality education is not easily accessible to many children in Honduras and the completion rate for education is not very high. Approximately 43 percent of children enrolled in public schools complete the primary level. Of all children entering the first grade, only 30 percent go on to secondary school and only 8 percent continue to the university.

Fortunately, God has opened a door for the Gonzales family in Nueva Suyapa, a slum in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Aldin Gonzales is a single mom with four boys (pictured above). Arlin, Daniel, and Josue are 7-year-old triplets in 2nd grade, and the oldest son, Fernando, age 9, is in 4th grade at Proverbs 22:6 School, where Orphan Outreach works. The family’s last home, which was built with the help of a local church, Brigadas de Amor, was destroyed last October due to rain. They lost everything. Currently, the same church has given them a place to stay until they find another home. Aldin sells oranges for a living and cannot afford to send her children to school with the money she makes. Melvin Mondragon, Orphan Outreach Honduras Coordinator, said that Aldin can sense that God is opening a door for her and her sons through the ministries of Orphan Outreach. Please pray for the Gonzales family, that the Lord would continue to provide for all their needs. Also pray for the children and teachers who attend Proverbs 22:6 School, that they would trust in God’s goodness and faithfulness with the children’s future.
