PRAYER REQUESTS

Guatemala
Praise God the High Pointe team was able to finish the construction of two houses in Cerro de Oro, a small village near Santiago. One house was for the Ramirez family and the other one for the Gomez family. In addition to these new homes, the team was able to serve the families by buying groceries, tables, chairs, sinks, toys, and other household items for each family. This extra surprise brought big smiles on both families, and they were very thankful to God for all the many blessings.

The students and staff of the Good Shepherd Christian Academy were also blessed by the High Pointe team's generous donation of school supplies and socks. Click here to read more about their trip.

Honduras
Earlier this year, AFE started offering classes 3 days a week at the garbage dump for new children workers with the goal of eventually enrolling them into AFE. There are 26 kids in classes at the dump, and thankfully 5 kids have already transitioned into AFE.

Please pray for these kids and their families, that the Lord would open their hearts and minds to the idea of school. Pray over this transition from life at the dump to AFE. Also pray for the teachers' safety and health.

India
Continue to pray for the staffing needs at Santvana Home. Pray for Dr. Edwards as she tries to manage the home and children.

Pray for the children as they are taking their examinations this month. Pray that God woulg give them confidence and endurance.

Russia
Please pray for the relationships between Nikolsky orphanage and the local church in the St. Petersburg region. Pray that the church would be an encouragement to the kids.

Pray for the kids in Orphanage #14 and especially the older girls. Pray that their hearts would be softened to the Gospel and that they would see their true value and beauty in Christ.

Please pray for the orphanage in Luga. Pray that God would be working and using the staff to love and care for the children in a way that points them to Him.

Summer Internship
Pray for our 15 summer interns as they are preparing for their time overseas and fundraising. Pray for strength, endurance, and trust in the Lord over the next few months. The interns will be serving in Honduras, India and Russia.
