Orphan Outreach Celebrates Christmas with Orphans in Russia and India
|
|
More than 650 children living in orphanages in Russia and India received Christmas gifts this year. For many of the children, it was the first Christmas gift they had ever received.
"It is only now that your very pleasant surprise is sinking in," says Dr. Lalita Edwards, Director of the home for HIV children in Pune, India. "I am truly blessed. This confirms to me, as it has so many times before that the Lord is in this project and that these children are on his heart and mind."
Through a simple gift and a single act of love, each child was reminded of the greatest gift, that Christ loves and cherishes each child individually and He gave his life that they may have eternal life.
"As my Father has loved me, so have I loved you." — John 15:9
