News Room
Orphan Outreach has received its Internal Revenue Service (IRS) 501(c)(3) not-for-profit tax exempt status. As a recognized charitable organization, Orphan Outreach is now able to accept charitable contributions and offer donors a tax deduction for their gifts.

"This is a tremendous blessing," states Orphan Outreach president Michael Douris. "We can now focus on funding the programs necessary to provide for the children the Lord has placed before us to serve."

These initial programs consist of private community pre-schools and elementary schools in Guatemala, Honduras and India. "The majority of orphans do not live in orphanages or institutions," says Douris. "They live in communities, in marginalized situations." It is the purpose of Orphan Outreach to reach these children at an early age and to provide for their emotional, spiritual and educational needs throughout the course of their lives — developing these children into successful and mature adults.

The Orphan Outreach school model will focus on advanced technology, economic development, bi-lingual education, spiritual development and community service. If you are interested in supporting the ministry of Orphan Outreach through prayer support, financial support or by traveling with us to visit the children we serve, please contact us at info@orphanoutreach.org.
