Join Orphan Outreach in serving precious children in Santiago, Guatemala. Serve on this team as a medical professional, teaching kids about Jesus, or helping to build a home for a family in Cerro de Oro. If you have experience in any of these areas, you can be used on this trip!

About Guatemala
UNICEF estimates that are over 370,000 orphans in Guatemala. Many of these children come from families facing extreme poverty; 70 percent of people in Guatemala live below the poverty level. Orphan Outreach ministers in Guatemala by partnering with local orphanages, churches, and Christian schools for children in extreme poverty situations. We also make it a priority to come alongside the Guatemalan nationals and work with them as they serve their own people.

Team Leader
An Orphan Outreach Staff Member or Trip Volunteer will lead the team in Guatemala.

Accommodations
The team will stay in a hotel close to the ministry site. We will have double-occupancy rooms with bathrooms.

| TRIP ITINERARY |
| Sat. Oct. 9 — Depart U.S. for Guatemala, drive straight to Santiago |
| Sun. Oct. 10 — Begin working on home in Cerro de Oro, set up for medical clinic |
| Mon. Oct. 11-Thur. Oct. 14 — Medical clinic at Baptist Camp/Home Building in Cerro de Oro |
| Fri. Oct. 15 — Boat ride across Lake Atitlan, drive to Antigua to shop, back to Guatemala City for the evening |
| Sat. Oct. 16 — Depart Guatemala for U.S. |

| TRIP COST |
|
Total trip cost includes land cost of $1550 plus approximately $900 for international airfare between the USA and Guatemala.
Land cost of $1550 is all-inclusive: all meals, lodging, in-country transportation, insurance, interpreters, bottled water, sightseeing, etc.
